SILICA SOL-BASED COATING AGENT, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, FILM AND ANTIREFLECTION SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silica sol-based coating agent for enhancing the antifouling property of an antireflection sheet or the like.

SOLUTION: The production method for the silica sol-based coating agent includes a suspension dispersion process (Steps S1, S2) for suspending and dispersing a solution of a fluorine-containing alkoxy-silane compound expressed by formula (2): X-Si(OR2)3(wherein, X is a group containing at least three fluorine atoms) and substantially insoluble in an organic solvent into silica sol, obtained by dispersing a polycondensate of an alkoxy-silane expressed by Si(OR1)4into the organic solvent, and an interfacial reaction process (Step S2) for reacting the alkoxy group of the fluorine-containing alkoxy-silane compound with the alkoxy group of the polycondensate of the alkoxy-silane at the interface between the silica sol and the solution of the fluorine-containing alkoxy-silane compound by holding a suspension dispersion state for a prescribed time.
