<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability when installing a printer unit and a scanner unit in a separated state, by reducing the number of harnesses between the printer unit and the scanner unit. <P>SOLUTION: A copying machine 1 has a printer unit 2 and a scanner unit 3 and can be used while the printer unit 2 and the scanner unit 3 are separated. The printer unit 3 includes an IO management unit (IOB) 24 for transmitting/receiving a signal among each portion of the scanner unit 2, and a power supply unit (PSU) 22 for feeding power to each portion of the scanner unit 2. The scanner unit 2 includes a relay board (SIB) 16 for distributing power, which is fed from the power unit (PSU) 22, to each portion of the scanner unit 2 and relaying the signal among each portion of the scanner unit 2 and the IO management unit (IOB) 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
