PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-transmissive electromagnetic wave shield member, which causes less deterioration in picture quality of a display image when fitted to an image display device such as a display, at low cost, and to obtain excellent processability when a front filter using the light-transmissive electromagnetic wave shield member is manufactured to lower the cost in final configurations. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the light-transmissive electromagnetic wave shield member characterized in that a metal pattern layer having its surface blackened is formed on a transparent base material, the metal pattern layer is 0.5 to 5μm thickness and has a reflection factor (Y value) of≤10 on the blackened metal pattern layer surface, and surface roughness (Ra) of an opening portion (non-metal pattern part) is 0.005 to 0.02μm.
