PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an imaging apparatus which make blurring processing to other objects other than a main object sure for highlighting the main object in comparison with the other objects such as background and are not influenced by variation of surrounding light quantity and surrounding resolution of an optical lens even when a small imaging device is used. SOLUTION: An image correlation detection part 31 inputs a plurality of pieces of image data obtained by photography under illumination with different illuminance to detect correlation between the input pieces of image data. A filter processing part 32 performs adaptive filter processing to at least one piece of input image data on the basis of the detection result of the image correlation detection part 31, and performs the blurring processing to image data in an image area with small luminance difference.
