PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a recovering sequence for program and data by performing decompression processing of compressed information in a DMA controller. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit device comprises a CPU 10, a first memory 30 having compressed data, a second memory 20 to which decompressed data of the compressed data is transferred, and a decompression controller 15 for decompressing the compressed data to generate the decompressed data, and the DMA controller 40 for transferring the decompressed data to the second memory without through the CPU.
