PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely connect existing piles to simplify work. SOLUTION: (a) An annular first connection projecting stripe 10 having a slope 14 is formed on an upper end plate 4 of a lower pile 1, and an annular second connecting projecting stripe 30 having a slope 34 is formed on a lower end plate 24 of an upper pile 21. (c) An annular fastening tool 40 has a dovetail-groove-like connection groove 43 having first and second press faces 45 and 46, and is disassembled into eleven annular fastening pieces 50 and one press tool 50a. (b) Superposing the lower pile 1 on the upper pile 21 causes the first and second connection projecting stripes 10 and 30 to make an annular dovetail tenon that can be inserted in the connection groove 43. The fastening pieces 50 are attached to the connection projecting stripes 10 and 30, and the press tools 50a is inserted in the end. As a result, the first press face 45 presses the first slope 14 and the second press face 46 presses the second slope 34 to press the upper and lower end plates 4 and 24 to fit them closely together into a connection structure 70.
