PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement member for a vehicle capable of improving rigidity and capable of contributing to the improvement of the safety of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The reinforcement member 1 for the vehicle has two facing walls 21, 22 facing each other to form a groove 20 at a cross section in a direction to cross the longitudinal direction, a connecting wall 3 to connect one-side ends 21a, 22a of each of the facing walls 21, 22 to each other and an outer flange 4 extended outward from the other ends 21c, 22c of each of the facing walls 21, 22. The outer flange 4 has a first flange 41 to form a plate shape and a second flange 42 to form a plate shape facing each other and a crest line 5 positioned at the opposite side with respect to the other end parts 21c, 22c of the facing walls 21, 22 and forming a cross-section U shape to form a boundary of the first flange 41 and the second flange 42.
