PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press machine where noise can be reduced, and further, twisting and shaking are reduced. SOLUTION: Each main pinion 27 connected to a servomotor 17 is engaged with a main gear 28, and further, the main gear 28 is provided with driving systems each connected with a slide elevating mechanism by even number. The main pinion 27 and the main gear 28 are composed of helical teeth, further the directions of the tooth leads of the helical teeth in the adjoining driving systems lie in a reverse relation, and the rotary directions of the adjoining main gears 28 are made reverse.
