PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the conventional umbrella, since a handle is attached to the center rod 4 being the center shaft of the umbrella and the umbrella is held just at this part, the length part of the arm from the elbow is apart from the body when the umbrella is put up and the shoulders and the back of a user get wet. SOLUTION: The change of the handle to a U-shape provides two grip parts A, B in the handle, and by merely changing the grip, the problem of the length of the arm which has been remote in the conventional umbrella is eliminated, and the entire umbrella comes to close to the center of the body, which prevents all around the body of the user from getting wet by the rain.
