The flow meter has an impeller (4) with an impeller axis (1) inclined in a flow direction of flowing fluid. The flow direction of the fluid is turned in a direction of the impeller. Flow velocity is increased by narrowing inlet channels. The flow of the fluid is re-directed through a set of flow channels (2) from axial to radial directions. The flow meter is arranged parallel to a tube axis and driven by a planetary gear. Suspension of the impeller is made by a counter flow of the liquid whose force acts against the axial force of the drive currents.
