<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which can be advantageously used as a container or packaging material for food, beverage, or the like, and a polyester molded body comprising the same, excellent in transparency, heat-resistance, mechanical property, and aroma retention property. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises at least two kinds of polyester having substantially same composition as principal components. Difference in intrinsic viscosity of the polyesters is within a range of 0.05-0.30 deciliter/g. Extracted water is obtained by extraction treatment of the molded body comprising the polyester composition at 80°C for 1 hour in ultrapure water. A difference between a value of taste (bitterness) of the extracted water in the case of measuring with a taste inspection apparatus equipped with a taste sensor comprising an artificial lipid membrane, and a value of taste (bitterness) of ultrapure water in the case of measuring with the same apparatus is 2.0 or less.
