PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact A/D conversion unit capable of correcting the variations in A/D conversion. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 11 arithmetically operates the signal level of an analog signal, by substituting an intermediate output value for a primary linear formula indicating the relation between the signal level of the analog signal input to an analog/digital conversion circuit 12 and the intermediate output value after A/D conversion. When a reference digital value acquiring command, transmitted from a controller 2, is received via a communication port 11a, in a state where an analog signal of a predetermined level is input to the analog/digital conversion circuit 12 during operation under a calibration mode, the microcomputer 11 then stores the intermediate output value in command reception in a RAM 13 as a reference digital value; transmits to the control device 2 the reference digital value stored in the RAM 13 as a response signal; and calculates an inclination and an intercept of the primary linear formula on the basis of reference digital values, at least at two points and the signal level of the analog signal corresponding to the relevant reference digital values.
