PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect concentration of liquid toner with good precision regarding a device and a method for measuring the liquid toner concentration. SOLUTION: The method and the device for measuring the concentration of the liquid toner is provided with; a rotating roller 12, a toner sticking part 12a provided on an outer circumference of the roller 12 and to which the liquid toner T is stuck, a sensor 14 detecting the concentration of the liquid toner from reflected light quantity of the liquid toner T stuck to the toner sticking part 12a at a prescribed thickness, and a scraping off blade 15 scraping off the liquid toner from the toner sticking part 12a after detection by the sensor 14. When the liquid toner is scraped off by the scraping off blade, the toner sticking part 12a has voltage applied to be the same polarity as the liquid toner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
