PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target signal detecting device capable of stably detecting a target by controlling the threshold for predicting the target position. SOLUTION: A transducer transmits sound wave underwater, and performs reception processing of the echo sound from the target. A signal processing section extracts a plurality of elements possessed by the received signal, and outputs the extracted feature element as a plurality of time sequence signals. A signal detecting section extracts a candidate signal for the target of the time sequence signals, and calculates the feature element. A target detecting section integrates the target signal for each time sequence signal and calculates the position. A target classification section weights the integrated feature element, and calculates the certainty factor indicating the degree of target-likeness of the integrated target signal. A target tracking section calculates the predicted position of the target, and executes the correlation with the actually detected target.
