<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt unit surely carrying out the correction of meandering in a belt member without the occurrence of rocking failure in a connecting member in a comparatively simple configuration even when the connecting member connected to a roller member correcting the meandering of the belt member becomes a bit state or the like, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the connecting member 31 connected to the roller member 13; and an abutting member 32 moving the connecting member 31 in forward and reverse directions M1 and M2 by being abutted to the connecting member 31 to correct the meandering of the belt member 8 by varying inclination of a rotational shaft in the roller member 13. The connecting member 31 is composed so that abutting position of the connecting member 31 to the abutting member 32 when moving the connecting member 31 in the forward direction M2 and the abutting position of the connecting member 31 to the abutting member 32 when moving the connecting member 31 in the reverse direction M1 are varied so as to correspond to the moving directions M1 and M2 to move the connecting member 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
