PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which does not require operation for displaying a pop-up and displays an electronic program table in which the hiding program information by pop-up is prevented from disabling of viewing of the program information. SOLUTION: In a television receiver 100, a receiving means receives broadcast program data and programs information data about broadcast programs; a preparing means prepares an electronic program table configured by arranging program cells storing programs information of the broadcast programs on the basis of the received program information data; and a display means displays the prepared electronic program table on a display part. When there is programs information that exceeds the amount of storable information in the program cells, the preparing means stores a prescribed amount of the programs information in the program cells in the programs information, stores at least a portion of the remaining programs information in a pop-up cell for popup display and arranges the pop-up cell, at a location where the pop-up cell would not overlap the programs information within the program cells.
