<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a storage medium which smoothes a storage medium without any damage that may adversely affect information recording and reproducing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises a step for disposing a laminate and a pedestal in such a manner that at least one surface of the laminate and at least one surface of the pedestal are on roughly the same plane, a step in which a polishing member for polishing the surface of the laminate comes in contact with the pedestal, and a step in which the polishing member slides on the pedestal and the laminate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
