PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup system for supporting creation of a batch file text. SOLUTION: The backup system comprises a command parameter table 80 storing a plurality of parameters set in accordance with backup and restore commands, and a preliminarily set setting argument or setting variable; and a note table 90 storing note information for each parameter. The system executes processes of determining whether the argument or variable of a parameter selected from a parameter selection screen is matched with the setting argument or setting variable or not in reference to the parameter table 80, connecting a plurality of parameters for which matching is determined with the arguments or variables thereof to create a batch file text, extracting precaution information of the arguments or variables contained in the batch file text from the precaution table 90, connecting the extracted precaution information to create a precaution information text, and displaying the created batch file text and the precaution information text on a display device.
