PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting fluid filtering device capable of efficiently separating and removing chips included in cutting fluid. SOLUTION: In the cutting fluid filtering device, a shelf board unit 150 is installed in a first storage chamber 29 of a recovery tank 20. The shelf board unit 150 is assembled by vertically laminating three shelf boards. In the periphery excluding front end parts of the shelf boards, rib walls for straightening a flow of cutting fluid are provided. In the shelf board unit 150, since a precipitation distance of chips included in the cutting fluid is the height between the shelf boards, time required for the precipitation of the chips can be drastically shortened. Since the time required for the precipitation of the chips can be shortened, the chips can be efficiently separated and removed in a process of making the cutting fluid flow in one direction. That is to say, since used cutting fluid discharged from a machine tool can be efficiently treated for a short time, the treated cutting fluid is stably supplied to the machine tool.
