PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward-reverse switching device of a power tool, which effectively prevents chattering and welding at an elastic end, and contributes to improved service life of contact points. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the forward-reverse switching device, an end of the fixed contact point 4 is formed of the elastic end 4a that is deformable upon making contact with the movable contact point 11, and a regulating projection 14 is formed on a unit base 2a, for regulating a deformation volume by abutting on the elastic end 4a deformable upon making contact with the movable contact point 11.
