<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive pointing device having functions for pointing in a space and for controlling a game. <P>SOLUTION: The interactive pointing device includes an acceleration sensor module and a gyroscope. The acceleration sensor module detects action of an operator and generates at least a monoaxial acceleration signal corresponding to the action. The gyroscope, which is installed to a turning mechanism, detects a turning condition in at least one axis direction to generates a corresponding signal based on the detected turning condition. The turning mechanism can adjust the axis direction of the gyroscope for making the gyroscope detect turning conditions in the different axis directions. By a signal processing technology, at least one axis directional turning signal and at least monoaxial acceleration signal are processed, and double functions for computer cursor control and for multimedia game interactive control are realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
