PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection head with improved reliability by efficiently adjusting the viscosity of a liquid to be discharged without impairing the flexibility of a head shape. SOLUTION: The recording head for discharging a droplet from a nozzle opening 26 comprises a passage unit 17 which comprises a nozzle plate 25 having a plurality of nozzle openings 26 and a passage forming substrate 24 in which a pressure development chamber 35 communicating with the nozzle openings 26 is formed, a piezoelectric vibrator 29 for giving pressure fluctuation to the pressure development chamber 35, and a head case 16 which joins the passage unit 17 at a tip 28 to hold the same. A metal fitting 38 is fixed to the head case 16 in the state where the metal fitting 38 faces the pressure development chamber 35, and a heater for heating the metal fitting 38 is connected to the metal fitting 38.
