PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion capable of simultaneously imparting ultraviolet light-blocking function and antistatic function by single processing without impairing appearance of the substrate and an processed article in which a composition layer is formed by applying the aqueous dispersion to the substrate. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion comprises tin oxide-based ultrafine particles, an ultraviolet light-blocking agent, water-dispersible resin and an aqueous medium. The aqueous dispersion is characterized in that the content of tin oxide-based ultrafine particles is≥11 mass% but≤50 mass% and the content of the ultraviolet light-blocking is≥50 mass% but≤89 mass% and the content of the water-dispersible resin is≥0 mass% but≤39 mass%, wherein total content of the tin oxide-based ultrafine particles, the ultraviolet light-blocking agent and the water-dispersible resin is 100 mass%, and pH of the dispersion is 9-14.
