PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for checking the in-car state of an elevator when any abnormality occurs in which a supervisor of a building or a maintenance person of the elevator checks the state of passengers confined in the elevator car by the image at an elevator landing, and shows it to related persons. SOLUTION: When any abnormality occurs in an elevator, and passengers 15 are confined in an elevator car 14, a specified cellular phone 17 reading information on an information center 10 written in the two-dimensional code included in an image displayed on a landing image display unit 5 provided on an elevator landing 18 makes an access to the information center 10. The information center 10 transfers the image in the car picked up by the in-car image pickup means 2 installed on a ceiling inside the elevator car 14 according to the instruction of the specified cellular phone 17.
