PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a string of a viscous fluid from being drawn and adhering to the wall of a vessel when a stringness phenomenon occurs accompanied by the filling of the viscous fluid through a supply nozzle to the vessel. SOLUTION: In the viscous fluid-filling device 1, the viscous fluid G2 is allowed to flow down from an outlet 5a of an upward arranged supply nozzle 5 to fill the inside of the downward arranged vessel 2 with the viscous fluid G3, and when the filling of the viscous fluid G3 into the vessel 2 is completed, the outlet 5a of the supply nozzle 5 is closed.
