PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a two-wheeled vehicle, having superior abrasion resistance as well as gripping force capable of maintaining lateral gripping force even during abrasion by improving the lateral gripping force when the two-wheeled vehicle turnably travels. SOLUTION: This tire has a reinforcing belt 16. A different kind of rubber 21 with its surface exposed to a tread surface is arranged on each tread shoulder part 11a of a tread 11, located adjacently to each sidewall 12. The width of the rubber 21, along the tread surface in a tire width direction is set within a range of not less than 11% nor more than 25% of a tread developed width, and the end thereof on the side of the sidewall is positioned within a range of not less than 10% nor less than 20% of the tread developed width directed from the tread end 11a to a tread center. The rubber is made of a rubber member having a higher dynamic modulus of elasticity than that of a rubber member located adjacently to the side of the tread center, and also is different in the dynamic modulus of elasticity depending on arrangement on each tread shoulder part 11b.
