PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improved in tire uniformity, while making good use of excellent characteristics provided in a polyketone fiber. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided with a carcass ply 4 constituted of cord layers arrayed in a substantially radial direction, and a belt 6 and a tread 3 arranged outside the crown part radial direction of the carcass ply 4. The carcass ply cord contains at least≥50 mass% of polyketone fiber. A heat absorption peak does not exist in heat absorption data at 50 to 200°C by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) of the polyketone fibers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
