PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating method of a woody decorative plate by which a woody decorative plate capable of forming a coating film developing an excellent woody feeling and having satisfactory coating physical property can simply be manufactured. SOLUTION: A solventless UV (ultraviolet ray) setting paint is applied on the surface of a wooden base material, and is cured by UV irradiation to form a cured coating film of the UV setting paint on the outermost layer of the wooden base material.
