PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting machine and its dust removing method, capable of effectively removing dust inside a suction chamber. SOLUTION: In the state where an upper face of a cutting table 2 is covered with nonbreathing sheets 1b, 17a etc. to reduce a suction air flow 10, opening/closing mechanisms 13, 14 are operated, and when air intake ports 11, 12 are opened, external air 19 outside the suction chamber 3 is introduced. The external air 19 introduced to the air intake ports 11, 12 is guided by guide members 15, 16, forms a dust removing air flow 20 flowing along the bottom part of the suction chamber 3, and is sucked to a blower 6 via an exhaust port 4a. The dust removing air flow 20 moves dust accumulated in the bottom part of the suction chamber 3 to the exhaust port 4a side, and drops and collects the dust inside a dust box 4.
