PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which never allows the change of setting without manual positioning of a rotary disc in a hopper device. SOLUTION: Protrusions (indexes) IND are provided in the circumference of the rotary disc 3 having a plurality of token holes 3a so arranged as to get tokens fitted into them, while a housing support of the hopper device is provided with sensors S1-S6 for detecting the rotational position of the rotary disc 3 by checking the indexes. Only when an index is detected with any of the sensors S1-S6 (Fig. 9(b)), the change of setting is possible. The rotary disc 3 is normally stopped at a position (Fig. 9(a)) where the indexes cannot be detected and so, the change of setting invariably requires the manual rotation of the rotary disc 3.
