PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing plastic deformation of a gasket by being repeatedly pressed. SOLUTION: When a driving source is operated in such a state that a lower slide door 36 is operated to a closing position, a pusher 154 moves forward, an inner seal portion 50 of the gasket 45 is elastically deformed by being pressed forward by a packing pressing portion 160 of the pusher 154 first, and then a negative pressure in a lower freezing compartment is reduced by opening the lower freezing compartment. Then, a lock magnet 51 is separated from a front plate 21 by pressing beads 52 of the lower slide door 36 forward by the door pressing portion 161 of the pusher 154 without through the gasket 45, and the lower slide door 36 is pushed out forward from the closing position. As the pressing force acting on the gasket 45 from the pusher 154 is reduced, the plastic deformation of the gasket 45 by being repeatedly pressed, can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
