PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method for a bearing device for a wheel with a rotating speed detection device, in which gas tightness at an engagement part of a sensor holder is improved, and assembly precision is increased to improve reliability. SOLUTION: A guide tool 30, and a press-fitting tool 31 slidably inserted and engaged with it are provided, with a connector 19b of the sensor holder 19 set in a specific phase to a mounting hole 5c in a car body mounting flange 5b, a support rod 32 fixed to make the same pitch circle diameter and the same phase as the mounting hole 5c, and a cut 30a formed at a corresponding position to the connector 19b to extend axially. The method is provided with a process of holding the sensor holder 19 with the press-fitting tool 31, as the press-fitting tool 31 is united with the guide tool 30, a process of engaging the guide tool 30 with an outer member 5 on the outside of it, and inserting the support rod 32 to the mounting hole 5c, and a process of sliding the press-fitting tool 31 along the guide tool 30 to press-fit the sensor holder 19 to the outer member 5.
