PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block construction method for accurately and safely performing underwater block installation work. SOLUTION: A wire 20 locked to a wire locking part of a support member 11 of a block hanging implement 10 is hooked to a hook 22a of a lifting member 22 of a crane 60 to allow the whole block hanging implement 10 to be lifted and moved. A plurality of blocks 30 are connected one by one to a plurality of hanging members 21 of the block hanging implement 10, and then the lifting member 22 of the crane 60 is lifted to lift the plurality of blocks 30 together with the block hanging implement 10. The crane 60 is then operated to move the plurality of blocks 30 up to the water surface W1 of an installation predetermined face P, and then the lifting member 22 is delivered to lower the block hanging implement 10 gradually into the water.
