The system (1) has a fluid eddy heater (6), which converts mechanical energy into heat energy and stands in effective connection with a fluid heating circuit (5) that is provided in a vehicle heating system (2). A controller (7) is provided for controlling the heating efficiency of the fluid eddy heater corresponding to the driving conditions of a vehicle over two throttle valves (8, 9) and two single solenoid valves (10, 11), where the heating efficiency adapts to different driving conditions. An independent claim is also included for a recuperation method.
