The wagon (1) has an accommodation space (2) limited by wall surfaces for accommodation of bulk goods. Couplers (6) and draw gear (7) are formed at opposite front surfaces of the wagon, where the front surfaces are oriented in running direction of the wagon. A freezing-protector is formed in a layer of the wall surfaces in the form of thermal insulation. The insulation has a covering device for protecting mechanical loading and environmental impact. The insulation is arranged on opposite front side of the goods wagon and consists of a layer of materials such as polystyrene and glass wool. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting bulk goods.
