<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a noble metal pipe with fine thickness having a thickness of 0.1 mm or less (about 0.009-0.07 mm) becomes easily deformed (crushed) or inevitably broken or cracked because of deficiency in strength caused from the minute thickness, although a noble metal pipe having a thickness of about 0.1 mm is easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes inserting (fitting) a thin noble metal original pipe prepared by the elongation process with a linear core material having a diameter of the same or less to the inner circumference of the noble metal original pipe to adhere closely to each other by such a process as dies working, and then repeating both heating treatment and linear elongation to prepare a clad line having a desired shape and scale, which is then cut by a cutter into a desired length followed by applying with an agent to remove the core material, thereby getting a thickness of 0.07 mm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
