PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method by which impurities included in a synthesized polyglycerol dendrimer (PGD) can be efficiently removed and it is made possible to utilize the PGD as medical materials, etc. SOLUTION: The synthesized polyglycerol dendrimer is purified by contact with at least one selected from alumina and activated carbon. The polyglycerol dendrimer to be purified is a polyglycerol dendrimer synthesized by repeating a step of allylating hydroxy groups and a step of converting formed allyl groups to hydroxy groups by osmic acid oxidation.
