PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for a wheel with a rotating speed detector, maintaining the accuracy of speed detection over a long period of time, and enhancing the reliability of ABS. SOLUTION: A cover 11 includes: a fitting part 11a press-fitted to the end of an outer member 5; a flange 11b extended from the fitting part 11a toward the radial inside and closely adhering to the end face 6c of the outer member 5; and a bottom 11c extended from the flange 11b toward the radial inside, wherein a cutout 19 is formed in a portion in the circumferential direction in the radial outside of the bottom 11c, a retaining part 12 is formed by integral molding over the whole periphery in the circumferential direction so that the outside diameter Dh has the same or a little smaller diameter as/than the outside diameter of the fitting part 11a of the cover 11 in a range from the flange 11b to the bottom 11c, a rotating speed sensor 20 is embedded in a part of the cutout 19, and the inner side surface of the holding part 12 is formed to uniformly substantially make flush with the whole periphery.
