PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partitioning device reduced in cost by making structures of upper end parts of independent type and ceiling mounting type partitioning devices used in common. SOLUTION: In these partitioning devices, an upper part horizontal frame 4 and upper end parts of right and left support columns 1 are fitted into a frame cover 36 attachable to a ceiling, facing the right and left directions, and having a downward U-shaped cross section in a side view, and front and rear rising pieces 33d in the upper part horizontal frame 4 are fixedly engaged with recesses 41 provided on opposing faces of lower end parts of front and rear downward pieces 36a in the frame cover 36.
