<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image display device in which an image display processing speed is high, when a mode of display image is changed, and which performs display that does not include different kinds of images, such as color and monochrome, even in scrolling or in monochrome and color display switching. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device for displaying a part of the image in a drawing window, comprises a first data-holding means for holding a data required for image display in the drawing window; a display mode switching means for switching the display mode in the drawing window; an acquiring means for acquiring a data of insufficiency which is required for image display in the display mode, after switching in the drawing window, from the first data-holding means; and a data generation means for generating the data required for image display in the display mode, after switching in the drawing window, by using the data of the insufficiency which is acquired from the data-holding means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
