<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for inkjet suitable for recording using water-based ink, having excellent light resistance, moisture resistance, and discoloration resistance, and having high storage stability, and to provide an easy production method for the recording medium for the inkjet allowing reproduction of characteristics of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This recording medium for the inkjet has an ink-receiving layer containing at least an alumina hydrate of a pseudo-boehmite structure and a fluorescent brightening agent on a support body. The fluorescent brightening agent is 2,5-thiophenediylbis (5-tert-butyl-1,3-benzoxazole), the ink-receiving layer contains the fluorescent brightening agent ≥0.025 mass% and ≤0.15 mass% to the alumina hydrate, and a standard error of fluorescence intensity of the ink-receiving layer is ≤1,300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
