<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data acquisition method, content-distributing apparatus and program, capable of performing time-based seeking with accuracy and at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A content analyzing function 12 corrects an estimated data position of content data recorded in a content storage function 13, based on the difference between an estimated time, obtained by decoding the content data at the relevant estimated data position and a request time and a bit rate and acquires content data at a data position corresponding to the request time in an encoded bit stream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
