PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for correcting the influence of illuminating conditions or photographic directions in biometrics authentication. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with an arithmetic processor for normalizing a luminance value to an input image; calculating second feature vectors by projecting first feature vectors showing an image to be acquired by the processing on a partial space to be specified by base vectors to be calculated based on a sample image to be acquired by image pickup from an arbitrary direction under arbitrary illuminating conditions; and calculating third feature vectors by applying secondary affine transformation to the second feature vectors so that the degree of similarity between the second feature vectors and registered feature vectors calculated based on the sample image can be increased.
