PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block surely a current from a battery, even if an A/D converter fails, though having an extremely simple circuit constitution. SOLUTION: This power supply device for a vehicle is equipped with a temperature sensor 2 thermally connected to the battery 1, whose electric resistance is changed by a temperature of the battery 1; a voltage conversion circuit 3 for converting the electric resistance of the temperature sensor 2 into a voltage; a load power supply 4 connected to the voltage conversion circuit 3, the A/D converter 5 for converting the voltage converted by the voltage conversion circuit 3 into a digital signal; and a voltage-temperature conversion circuit 6 for converting the digital signal outputted from the A/D converter 5 into a temperature. Further, in the power supply device, a correction circuit 7 for correcting voltage fluctuation of the load power supply 4 is connected to the input side of the A/D converter 5, and a correction signal inputted from the correction circuit 7 into the A/D converter 5 is set to be higher than a safe operation temperature domain of the battery 1.
