PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus where a picked up image having reduced influence of camera shake is obtained, and further, production cost is suppressed. SOLUTION: When a shutter button is pressed by a user (YES in S1), DSP (Digital Signal Processor) drives an imaging unit, and an object is imaged by the imaging unit, to create a first picked up image (S2). Directly after the first picked up image is imaged up by the S2, the DSP drives a microphone, and starts speech recognition processing (S3), when prescribed voice or speech is recognized among voice and speech input from the microphone (YES in S4), the imaging unit is driven, and further, the object is irradiated with a light using a flash device, and the object is imaged by the imaging unit, to create a second picked up image (S5). Even when camera shake occurs in the first picked up image, the picked up image having reduced influence of camera shake can be obtained since the second image has been imaged.
