PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine for easily confirming whether the storage type showing whether merchandise is to be cooled or heated coincide with the storage state according to its purpose. SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is provided with: a plurality of selection buttons; a plurality of merchandise storage parts; a plurality of heat insulating rooms; a setting device for setting the plurality of selection buttons and the plurality of merchandise storage parts by arbitrarily associating them with one another, and for setting the temperature of each of the heat insulating rooms. Merchandise samples and storage temparature display members corresponding to the respective selection buttons are arranged thereon. A display part for, when the arbitrary selection button is depressed in a prescribed mode for confirmation, displaying the position of the heat insulating room storing the merchandise selected by the selection button and the storage type at the same time is arranged by using, for example, a payment display part 15.
