PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having high offset resistance and also having excellent charging property while it is encapsulated toner excellent in low-temperature fixability. SOLUTION: The toner includes capsule type toner particle having a surface layer (B) on the surface of a toner base particle (A) including at least a resin (a) mainly composed of polyester, a carbon black and a wax, wherein the relationship between concentration C (mg/ml) of the toner in a solution of the toner dissolved in chloroform and absorbance A600 of the solution at 600 nm wavelength satisfies A600/C≥2.0, the dielectric loss tangent tanδof the toner defined by dielectric loss factorε"/dielectric constantε' is≤0.020 at 100,000 Hz frequency, the toner has volume resistivity of≥1×10<SP>12</SP>Ωcm, and the carbon black has a number average dispersion diameter of 100-500 nm in the closeup picture of a cross section of the toner particle.
