PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter detection system capable of heightening working efficiency and accuracy in foreign matter detection. SOLUTION: The foreign matter detection system 100 specifies the presence or absence of foreign matter on a road surface and the position of the foreign matter on a map. The foreign matter detection system 100 is approximately constituted of an inspection data acquisition part 7 mounted to a vehicle (moving means) 15; a degradation determination part 9; and a diagnostic result managing part 16.
