A vertical lifting and stereo garage is disclosed. The transversely shifting device of the garage includes a sliding vehicle (205), slides (203) and a carrying panel (18). The slides (203) are a U-shaped channel (or a groovy frame composed by two T-shaped profiled bars); the sliding vehicle (205) is positioned in the slides(203), the wideness of which is smaller than that of the slides(203),and it has many rollers (54) and a lifting supporting surface. The lifting supporting surface includes a first working position higher than the height of the sidewall of the slides (203) and a second working position lower than the height of the sidewall of the slides (203). The carrying panel (18) is positioned on the slides (203); slides are provided in the vehicle storing houses; slides are also provided in the bottom of the lifter in the lifting system, and the slides in the lifter are aligned with the slides in the vehicle storing houses at both sides. Racks are provided at both sides of the sliding vehicle (205), and the pinions of the coaxial gears are mounted on the inside wall of both sides of the slides in the lifter, the pinions engaged with the racks on the sliding vehicle (205), and the gearwheels of the coaxial gears engaged with the gearing chain. |
