<p>Disclosed is a small-sized steam generating apparatus having a simple structure, which is excellent in durability and quietness. Specifically disclosed is a steam generating apparatus comprising a water storage tank (11) composed of a bottom wall (12) and a cylindrical side wall (13), a coil (41) wound around the outer surface of the side wall (13) of the water storage tank (11), and a cylindrical conductive heating body (31) arranged within the water storage tank (11) and induction-heated by a magnetic field which is generated by passing an alternating current through the coil (41). In this steam generating apparatus, a steam is generated by heating the water lying between the inner surface of the water storage tank (11) and the cylindrical conductive heating body (31) among the water held within the water storage tank (11).</p> |
